Install rollApp applications on your device

rollApp application are available across the wide range of platforms: various desktop OSes and browsers, Chromebooks, iPads, and Android tablets. We are constantly working to make your favorite applications more and more accessible with rollApp. That is why we are always looking for ways to make the applications closer to you on the devices you use.  If you happen to use a Chromebook (or the Chrome browser on Windows, Mac or Linux) or the Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet, you can launch apps not only from rollapp.com, but also install them on your device. Here is how it works.

When you look at the application on our site, e.g. LibreOffice Writer, next to the app’s icon you will notice the badges indicating on which platforms this application can be installed natively.


To add an application to you Chrome browser simply click the “Add to Chrome” button. This will install the application from the Chrome Web Store and make it available directly to your browser. 

As a result you will now be only one click away from launching the application in the cloud on rollApp:


On Kindle or another Android tablet with Amazon App Store it works in a similar way. Tap on the “Available at Amazon” badge and complete the install of the application. You can launch powerful cloud app right from your tablet’s home screen.
